1. Privacy Statement

The information you provide in this form will be used to assess your application for a place on the Aspiring Principal Programme. Your contact details and relevant professional information will be shared with the programme provider should you be successful.

Non-identifiable data may be used for statistical purposes or programme evaluation.

  • I consent to the use of non-identifiable data from this registration form for the purposes of evaluating and improving the Aspiring Principal Programme.

  • I consent to my contact details and relevant professional information being shared with programme provider and mentors for the purpose of confirming enrolment and matching you with a mentor.

Question Title

2. Eligibility check

You must meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the programme. Please confirm the following:

  • I am currently employed as a permanent teacher (at least 0.6 Full Time Teacher Equivalent) in a New Zealand state or state-integrated school or kura.

  • I hold a Tiwhikete Whakaakoranga Tūturu | Full Practising Certificate (Category One).

  • I have at least four years full-time teaching experience, with at least two years teaching in a New Zealand state or state-integrated school or kura.

  • I have organised a referee to endorse my application and have provided them with the referee form link and my MoE number so their endorsement can be linked to my application.

  • I have informed my current principal | tumuaki of my application and they are supportive of my participation in the programme if accepted.

If my application is shortlisted for a place on the programme, both my principal | tumuaki and I are willing to participate in an interview with a Leadership Advisor.
